Australian Health Solutions is searching for a strategic marketing specialist to join our growing healthcare business. AHS; proud owners of the AHS Pharmacy group and other AHS health solutions providers such as AHS Compounding Pharmacy, are looking for an experienced strategic marketing specialist to join our senior management team to help shape the future direction of our group.
AHS has been serving the local communities of Victoria for over 30 years now; we have a staff of 60+ including pharmacists, retail assistants, compounding technicians and store managers stretching from Coburg up to the borders of NSW.
The pharmacy industry is currently going through a series of robust changes created by the governments adjustments to PBS. Although these changes are inconvenient to most it also opens up a window of opportunity for AHS.
As a strategic marketing specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out a strategic marketing analysis of the business group. You will then research and subsequently identify new revenue streams via new products and services which AHS maybe able to offer.
Due to the reliance on market research and strategic analysis the candidate must have at least 1 years experience in market research and must have substantial experience developing medium to long term strategic marketing plans
After identifying these opportunities, you will be responsible for presenting your findings, along with budgets and targets to the senior executives of AHS. On approval you will be responsible for developing new and existing opportunities into viable market opportunities. To achieve this, you will co-coordinate the development of any branding, processes, pricing structures, advertising strategies, recruitment or retraining of existing sales related employees. You must create consumer demand for the product or service via advertising or other marketing channels with a strict budget; so efficiency and effective use of your budget is critical.
Although AHS uses outside agencies to develop web design, artwork and copy write; it is very desirable you also have a firm understanding of client side agency management and a high level of experience using creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
At least 5-years experience with ecommerce and digital is required. We are specifically interested in candidates with heavy experience of using ecommerce platforms such as Magento and WordPress and have a proven tracked record of creating ecommerce business models which have generated substantial revenue. As such the candidate must have a high level of understanding of the web design process and should be able to understand and hold their own when discussing and making decisions via technical colleagues using technical language.
We also require the candidate to have a proven track record of effectively managing PPC campaigns (Google Adwords, Bing & Facebook), SEO activities and creating digital systems and processes to automate sales and non-sales related processes for example automising a CRM system with an order management system, POS system, direct mailing system and more. The candidate will need to have a track record of co-ordinating the development of electronic processes and systems via the development of API, CRON and SaaS integrations,
The candidate must have an understanding of the healthcare market and the dynamics of the pharmacy trade within Australia and they must also have experience using pharmacy systems such as Fred Dispense & PharmacyPro POS.
Ultimately our marketing specialist will be responsible for increasing efficiency throughout our business via automation of our sales processes, increasing sales and finding new revenue streams for AHS via interpreting business data, assessing the competitive market and barriers to entry (macro and micro) and interpreting current and future consumer trends.
The ideal candidate will have over 5+ years experience as a marketing specialist, a proven track record of creating successful business models ideally in the retail and ecommerce spectrum.
The candidate must hold a Marketing / Advertising related degree with honours and have received a grade of Distinction or above, ideally the degree will have been CIM certified.
